Driven by Purdue's land-grant mission, Lei strives to focus on student-centered active learning. Lei is passionate about teaching paper-pencil conceptual understanding.
Lei has been supported by Purdue Teaching for Tomorrow Junior Faculty Fellowship, IMPACT fellow, IMPACT-Data Science Fellow, Purdue Course-based Research Experience (CURE-Purdue) Fellow for developing a new course EAPS 425 Physics of Climate that Lei has developed.
